Nebraska football was never this bad! We are the laughing stock of the Big 12. Everyone looks forward to their series sweep against us! Thank heavens our Wrestling future looks bright. Men’s Football, Basketball and Baseball are historically bad. I don’t remember all three being this bad at the same time ever!

With the rich history of legendary players we’ve had come through this program, I’m surprised there aren’t a group of them voicing their displeasure over the current state of affairs!

Maybe the legendary players understand it's not how you start but how you finish the season. The beautiful part about baseball is the game is not over until the final out.

In 2022 Alcorn State finished 3-39. They probably held out hope until the final out of that 42nd game.

I don't disagree with your statement at all, there is still alot of baseball left this season. But to be fair, the last time OSU baseball finished with a losing record was 1977. Add to that the program has certainly spoiled the fan base with consistent high level winning during that time, especially under Josh making regionals most years (winning those regionals is a different conversation).

My point being, this season (thus far) is unprescedented in the modern era of OSU baseball and in Josh's tenure. Fans caring about this atrocious season is not a bad thing.

There are plenty of examples the last few years of teams barely making the tournament, then getting on a roll in the postseason, like Florida last year or Ole Miss a few years ago that was last team in and won it all. Who knows, hard to imagine but maybe that’ll be us.
