Every other team is doing the same basic strategy we’re doing in regards to recruiting. Only take a couple high schoolers and all portal from there. We’re bringing in two very solid high school players, both have a ton of potential. We’re returning two pieces in Dean and Jennings that can absolutely be pieces on a tourney team. Keller and Dow have shown subtle improvement this year. Vukovic is a wild card. That’s already a head start compared to what Lutz started with after Garrison, Dailey, and the other who give a shhhh’s left. I trust Lutz can spend the money Bryce Thompson is making this year on a star and then fill in the roster from there.

I respect your view. Afraid it’s going to be much harder/require more patience than our fanbase is capable of.
We don’t have much choice about the patience thing
Watching Houston/Tech tonight. Watched Hou/ISU on Saturday. Watched 10 mins of our game in Lawrence. Good basketball is easy to see but unlike football it’s not just Jimmys and Joes.
And it’s not vice versa either.

That’s what scares about our total situation.
That’s what I have come to loathe about college basketball, it’s the coach and referee show. Women’s college basketball is actually a better product than the men’s game
If only the women's referees weren't so atrocious -- not putting on a show like in the men's game, just simply bad.
