I was really impressed with the young guys. Zero fielding errors and some good ABs.

Josh was very critical of his team on the post game radio interview. He called out Pesca, said he pitched terrible and that as a seasoned veteran he has to pitch better. He also talked about what a train wreck the top of the 9th was. Even with the win he was very critical of the team. I have never heard him this upset before.

Good. Sounds like he's feeling a little heat. Impressed that he benched a few guys that have been having some terrible ABs.

That’s a nice change from the normal “it’s early, we’re fine, we haven’t had good enough weather” etc. He’s right, need to be able to depend on Pesca for more than 3 innings. The success or failure of the weekend hinges on tomorrow. Go win tomorrow and it will have been a successful weekend taking 3 of 4.

Agreed, his criticism was valid, I was just surprised he was saying it. Haven’t heard him be that blunt about his team before.
