Tech fired former Cowboy Matt Gardner as pitching coach after last season and hired a guy who was the Rockies pitching coach for several years. Gardner is now the PC at Houston.

Maybe I’m getting Phillips and Blake confused but doesn’t it seem like 1x per yr Phillips gives us one of these (was it him in the big12 tourney a couple of years ago) and you think “lightbulb on. Here we go.” And the next outing it’s like the previous never happened.
