Take out Jax and Vega and it pretty much averaged one takedown per match. Not very aggressive like we were last year. We are very difficult to score on but most matches looked like get a takedown then stall the last 2 periods. It was a very safe and controlled dual. I personally would like to see more aggressiveness

Not totally disagreeing...
But, it could just be guys wrestling with different methods. They've (mostly the young guys & Doucet) shown they can be aggressive and win. Why not work on controlling the match?
Tournament time is about win & advance... but more importantly, stamina. Having multiple strengths to get the win means staying in the championship bracket. js

Spratley scored lots of points, but the upper weights didn't. Those upper weights are not going to score a lot this year. This is who they are. They are controlling center decently and working hard on top. The good part is they will have a chance to win any match outside of maybe two guys. The bad side is they are vulnerable to upset.

Jax is just built differently, like Wyatt Hendrickson. He's coming to dominate every second not just win. He's willing to take risks to score. He can score from any position. In my opinion if he loses, it will be from being overly aggressive.
