OSU at KSU

JH postgame

"I don't know that I can come up with a positive spin."

"We weren't nearly as competitive at the plate as I expected."

"Credit to their guy, he had the game of his life, but that shouldn't happen against your team."

"I can't stomach this."

"We're going to have to find our competitive spirit because we didn't have that tonight."

"We're going to have to have some young pitchers step up. Zane looked pretty good, Drew did not, and Parker is getting better."

"Losing sucks and the score really burns."

"We have a responsibility to uphold a standard of play that we're not living up to."

"I didn't have this team ready, and I have to fix that."

What he doesn't get is this is the product of that he allows, excuses, and in some ways promotes. It's not a one night thing. If he would be more pissed off like that, he might be a better coach.

The strikeouts are a problem that is consistently there and has been for more than just "this year" so it's not new...
That one thing alone is not a recipe for winning baseball at any level if you ignore any other thing that we do/don't do.

It all starts at the top. His coaching has proven to be a failed system over a period of time and is producing a failed product. Time to move on.

This conference lost the best college baseball program in the country and a pretty darn good one in ou. The big 12 is very average in baseball now and OSU should be at the very top or close to it. Yet we seem to be not even competitive in it. Josh must go.
We've said OSU should be at the top of the conference since OU and UT left the big 12. Yet here we are average or below average in the 3 big sports and not seeing any sign of improvement except maybe football, but that is still up in the air as of now.

Well Gundy and Texas Tech ruined that vision for football.

Texas Tech has not made the NIL commitment to baseball, though. No Big 12 team has. The teams at the top of the league are just gritty, hard nosed teams.

Very true having a billionaire back your football program helps, if only T Boone could have seen this era of college sports, we would be right there with Taco Tech.

I've wondered about baseball, I have seen NIL numbers from football and basketball, but hardly see anything about baseball. At this point with baseball you wonder if a change at coach could help, I love Josh but we havent made it out of regionals since 2019.
