Wooten and Heard both got 2 fouls early and sat on the bench most of the first half.It looks like Wooten needed to be on the floor more.
I believe feed the player with the hot hand. The coach should have told her to lay off of defense and concentrate more on offense.Wooten and Heard both got 2 fouls early and sat on the bench most of the first half.
Every game seems it comes down to whether Gray is scoring or not. She is going to shoot us in and out of games.I believe feed the player with the hot hand. The coach should have told her to lay off of defense and concentrate more on offense.
Jet lag shouldn’t be a problem. We are only an hour ahead of Arizona. And it’s just a two hour flight. Your other factors are real. There is a lot that go into road games. Sleep pattern is messed up, jet lag, familiarity with venue, depth perception in a new gym, crowd factor, focus, refs favor home team management re often, discipline to not get in foul trouble on the road etc etc
Men’s and women’s teams nationwide struggle with this mightily. Sometimes I feel coaches need to worry more about the mental aspect of traveling than they do the hours of game planning that usually sucks anyways. This is why March Madness is crazy because the most talented teams struggle on the road due to above factors
There is. And the good teams are the ones that figure it out. Teams in the top 25 and top 4-5 NCAA seeds win on the road. You either get it done, or you don't.There is a lot that go into road games. How many teams do well with a lineup that is completely new minus Vukovic? I don’t follow enough top 25 teams but I assume teams like Houston, Duke and UNC have several returners. That core of culture helps build winning basketball. Will be curious to see how we look with I am assuming several of these guys coming back and continuing to develop. Plus our 2027 commitsThere is.
