Finding reliable numbers on it is a bit sketchy but B1G schools avg AD revenue is double the avg Big12 school ($133 million to $62 million).
There’s a significant difference in the resources between the two schools.
I guess my take on Campbell is that he’s had similar resources to his peers in the Big 12 & can’t break through. Moving up in budget and class now doesn’t make me suddenly think he’ll perform better, given the fact his peers now have similar resources.

Here’s yet another article talking about how screwed up the whole fb calendar is.
Lastly, in this week’s CFP show we had the chair explaining Bama’s move over ND by saying how Bama beat a 5-6 unranked Auburn team and it was viewed as a great win. Huh? So an Auburn team who beat Baylor, Ball State, Arkansas, S. Alabama and Mercer is viewed as a quality win?
I’m convinced that a lot of the frustrations with the committee have to do with rotation of its members and consequently totally shifting criteria. FSU loses the QB? They’re out! Ole Miss loses their head coach? They’re in! Last year they’re saying a team won’t be penalized for losing a CCG and playing that extra game. This year they won’t commit to they. These guys move the goalposts all over the place.
