Folks,

It has been the honor of my life to post game threads, not only here, but back at Orange Power as well. I’ve enjoyed writing up the storyline going in as much as I’ve enjoyed updating the records, times, and networks. But recent events have made it clear to me that it is no longer in the best interest for me, you, or Oklahoma State to continue to do so.

I hereby am stepping down as the game thread starter for this message board. I simply do not see how this board or this team will ever be great otherwise. I do this out or a sense of duty to a school and a board that has given me so much.

I will continue to post, but I can no longer post the game thread in good faith. I owe y’all at least an explanation instead of just disappearing.

Thank you for all support you’ve given over the years and boards. Go damned Pokes.

Recent events as in the program is a complete dumpster fire or you are mad that posters are being so negative about it?

Posters will come and go with varying levels of negativity. That has nothing to do with it.

The whole reason I’ve been doing the game threads is that I posted my first one back when it was on a volunteer basis, and I chose the 2010 game against Texas A&M to do so. Our record since then has been pretty good until last year. After this past game, I feel like a bad luck charm. And it’s been 15 years (!!!), it’s time for somebody else.

It’s nothing more serious than or less silly than that.
