I didn’t realize we had a higher ranked recruiting class in 2023 than we do this year. I remember that turning out spectacular. Seriously if things don’t turn around next year I don’t see any hope for this program.

We had a team last year that could defense but couldn’t hit water falling out of a boat. Lutz overcorrected and got the best offensive guys he could get. Unfortunately they just haven’t gelled. Hopefully he can find the happy balance and we will be better next year.

I'm not sure he hit on the "offensive guys" part of it anyway

We have one player who can shoot, that’s Roy and honestly he’s just a bit above average as a pure shooter. In today’s basketball, you have to be able to shoot the damn ball. Year in and year out we roll out a team that flat out can’t shoot the ball. It’s baffling to me how awful these D1 players shoot (not just Oklahoma State).

I am really surprised Lutz has not been able to get them to play good defense. Maybe I over estimated his coaching acumen coming in. I sure hope not. Having another coaching change would delay this program’s return to respectability even longer.

Lutz will find out the hard way that if you don’t hold guys accountable then the students run the classroom.

The only part I disagree with is the "students". It is the employees running the show.
