It's sad how common this is. Actually sad isnt the right word-the right phrase would get an r rating if someone said it in a movie.
This type of error should be headline news and the type of situation where the president personally calls the family to apologize because it is so egregious and rare. But it's just another day in Trump's America.
Cruelty like this is not a "bug" or an "error" in the system with Trump.
It's a designed "feature" of Trump's system.
They DNGAF about the law or compassion for fellow human beings. In fact, they view such things with contempt.
This is exactly it. They see these stories and google trying hard to find even the slightest way to blame the person. "Hey, they may have ripped the kid out of high school and put him in a detention center, but they only did because he is ILLEGAL. Sure, he has valid status now. But in 2009 when he was in grade school his mom missed a check in appointment. They DIDN'T FOLLOW THE RULESSS!"
This Venezuelan doc was working in an underserved area on the border. She was picked up while traveling back to California only because that is where her asylum hearing was. A biligual doc working in an ER in an underserved area. Highly rated by her peers. Can you think of someone we would want in the country more than that? Yet, even doctors are calling her illegal because 10 years ago she overstayed a visa for a few days. It just shows the worst of humans. And they can't even comprehend how bad they look.

She was 23.dating a 19 year old and nowhere near ICE position when it occurred.
Dating your subordinate at work is always a bad idea wherever you work, but the age difference was negligible.
True, but also crazy that she was named Deputy Director of ICE at 28 years old.
She got a Bachelors in 2019 and 6 years later she was ready to be the deputy director of a huge agency?
Glad we got rid of DEI to keep those incompetent negros with 30 years of experience out of high level posititions. (pure sarcasm, of course)
