SCOOP: A declaration filed in a case involving the Whipple detention center in Minnesota alleges that there was a stack of new car seats in the facility.

Eyewitnesses have seen no children there. Sources tell me there are concerns, ICE/CBP is separating children from parents, holding children at a nearby hotel.

Trump administration says it is ending its immigration surge in Minneapolis

The Trump administration said Thursday that it is ending its immigration crackdown in Minneapolis.
Speaking at a news conference in Minneapolis, Border "czar" Tom Homan said coordination with local law enforcement and success of immigration enforcement have contributed to the end of Operation Metro Surge.

"I have proposed and President Trump has concurred that this surge operation conclude," he said.

The announcement comes weeks after federal authorities shot and killed two U.S. citizens, sparking outrage around the world.

Homan said "a significant drawdown" will begin this week and will continue next week. He said he will remain on the ground "for a little longer" to ensure a successful end to the operation.

Last October, the Department of Homeland Security claimed that federal agents in Chicago were "forced to deploy their weapons and fire defensive shots at an armed US citizen" after their SUV was "rammed by vehicles and boxed in by 10 cars."

But analysis of recently released body-camera footage of the shooting of Marimar Martinez and videos verified by nearby businesses and bystanders suggests that those claims were exaggerated.

Our media calling this "exaggerated" when their story was completely fabricated is one of the reasons we are where we are today.
