I looked at it as more trying to save future lives than justification for taking one.
That makes sense.

I agree. And he is correct of need for investigation. You can agree with all of what he said, which I do mostly, but none of it in any way justifies that dude being shot to death. The officers are once again in the wrong here.
"He [Graham] refused to go along with the plan over a House-backed provision that would repeal a law allowing senators to receive cash payouts if they had phone records seized by former special counsel Jack Smith — the South Carolina Republican included."
BREAKING: U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has issued a statement clarifying that four people have been arrested by federal agents over a protest at a church in Minnesota. In addition to independent journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort, Black Lives Matter Minnesota founder Trahern Crews has also been taken into custody by federal agents.
Pam Bondi calls this protest an ‘attack.’

Right, because nobody who practices holistic medicine is credible about things other than medicine.Haven't watched the video but hes an anti vax guy (Hudson). Not sure how credible I would consider him.
I am pretty underwhelmed by the "deal" as it stands."He [Graham] refused to go along with the plan over a House-backed provision that would repeal a law allowing senators to receive cash payouts if they had phone records seized by former special counsel Jack Smith — the South Carolina Republican included."
So he's holding up the plan for purely personal (not even partisan political) monetary gain.
I've got no problem with being underwhelmed (or even against) the deal for ANY principled reasons other than a Senator not getting his direct cash payment grift.I am pretty underwhelmed by the "deal" as it stands.

He points out that Minnesota has a duty to retreat before using deadly force in self-defense and somehow twists that into an argument that saying he had a right to be at the protests and a right to carry his firearm is somehow factually true, but misleading given the circumstances.Again didn't watch the video (maybe after work) so he might make some good points-IDK right now. But don't paint the guy as a voice of reason when next week he might go hang out with the my pillow guy at an anti vaccine rally.
Need more leaders like him based on what?Good level-headed 8min video from a Minnesota state congressman. The country needs more leaders like Walter Hudson.
I thought ICE didn't wear body cameras. If they do and and they aren't releasing footage then that is very tellingQ: For transparency, would you commit to releasing the body cam video from federal officers involved in the Pretti shooting and their names?
BLANCHE: I'm not committing to anything

Their lawyers have already confirmed they doI thought ICE didn't wear body cameras. If they do and and they aren't releasing footage then that is very telling
Didn't see that. I did see a comment in this thread that said they hadn't purchased body cameras which would explain why the guy who killed Good was using his phone. If he was wearing a body cam then that footage should absolutely be released.Their lawyers have already confirmed they do
- On January 26, federal lawyers confirmed to a judge that body-camera footage exists and has been preserved.
- Status of Evidence: U.S. District Judge Eric Tostrud issued an emergency order to prevent federal agencies from destroying or altering this footage. While the government confirmed the footage is uploaded to CBP servers (where it is slated for long-term storage), they have not yet agreed to share it with Minnesota state investigators.
- Conflict: Bystander video already in the public eye shows Pretti being tackled and shot in the back multiple times while holding a phone, which directly challenges initial administration reports that he was "brandishing" a gun.
