In a five-minute telephone interview with The Wall Street Journal on Sunday, Trump didn’t directly answer when asked twice whether the officer who shot Alex Pretti had done the right thing. Pressed further, the president said, “We’re looking, we’re reviewing everything and will come out with a determination.” Administration officials have publicly defended the officer.
Who is we?
Are they following protocol and letting the prosecutors in the civil rights division investigate? What about local authorities?
Because, if “we” is the typical Trump loyalists, then it is pointless.

The image isn’t what happened. The creator even tried to have AI put a gun in Pretti’s hand, which is a gross misrepresentation of what happened. Pretti was unarmed.
I don’t think we’re getting our $28bil worth. Where’s the rest of the money going?

This is another ignored aspect of what’s going on and it is just as evil. Detentions are rising. Where are they being held? Yep, private facilities. They are taking in money. And then donating back to super PACs to politicians who steer policy and detainees back their way. We are also hearing of awful holding conditions, assaults and even homicides in these facilities. But guess who oversees the investigations.

Writing oral jokes just doesn’t work sometimes. Will make you gag instead of laugh.
What Trump has done is allow these people to say what we’ve known they have felt for years, but in the past there was enough social pressure to make them bite their tongues.
That man is far less Christian than I am. I believe the basic tenets of Christianity make a lot of sense and mostly follow them. My issue is lack of faith. He claims faith in something that he doesn’t follow. I think that is worse.
It’s what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.
I heard that dcTalk song this morning and it drove me to tears and in fact I am in tears right now in my office. What the freak is going on in this country.
