Again I stress ICE are not police. Crowd control is not their job. And uses chemical warfare in a crowder area where children are present is NOT consistent with their claim of “prioritizing safety”.

It’s important to keep looking at the optics of ICE surge through strategic politics.

Pennsylvania has a pop of close to 14MM. It’s estimated undocumented Immigrant population is 250,00-300,000.

So 3.5x population of OK but only 100,000 more undocumented immigrants.

Meanwhile TX and FL have a combined undocumented immigrant population of 4MM.

Also OK has a violent crime rate per capita almost double that of Pennsylvania.

Both MN and PA have lower violent crime rates per capita than OK, TX & FL.

MN & PA have fewer undocumented immigrants. Lower violent crime rates. But their Govs are D who have said mean things about Trump.

It’s not about effective immigration enforcement or efficiency. It’s optics and punishment.

Nary a word from the resident MAGAs on this one. Apperently civil disobedience in a church with an ICE director is beyond the pale, but gassing nonviolent people with cancer causing agents is all good.

Its moral bankruptcy, really. I dont want my political enemies gassed with carcinogens. It should be easy for others to say the same.
