Chuck Schumer strongly disagrees with using the term undocumented (30 second mark of video). He prefer illegal immigrant or illegal alien.
I never knew you were a fan of Schumer enough to follow his speeches but this is yet another reason for me to dislike him.
He is partially correct about one thing. Our government (him) is not serious about fixing illegal immigration. If they were, I have give an easy framework for how to fix it countless times. But, that would involve being mean the cash cows for whores like Schumer so that ain't gonna happen.

His self-promoting is too much to write out here. But is well detailed in this law review which explains how he was able to blame Sinema for killing it in 2022 while they both made out like bandits.

FOX News reporter Bill Melugin is breaking this story, he says he has spoken with at least four law enforcement officials on the ground.
The victim is in stable condition and is recovering, it’s unclear if he is in ICE custody.

It is interesting if you think about it. Obama had a pretty good immigration plan. "It only works if you do all the pieces" and congress needed to step up and do their piece and never did.
But, after Obama, you had Trump who took it a little too far. Not way too far, but the babies in cages, splitting families and losing kids was bad. Then Biden comes and has to go full anti-Trump and swings the pendulum incredibly far the other way. And now we have Trump going anti-Biden and way too far the other way.
I think most of America would be fine with something like what Obama was doing, and we would probably be better off if that had just continued the whole time.
