Just wondering if anyone has ever seen a federal agent point a gun out the half opened window of a car before?
Think back to the Patriot Act. Citizens were so on top of their rights that even loosening the warrant requirements for surveillance was hugely controversial. Imagine if you could go back in time with this pic and tell everyone that in 25 years federal government is hiring a bunch of untrained goons to cover their faces and harass and swipe people off the street and the SCOTUS deemed "probable cause" as simply how you look.
Then, mind blow them that it is the "conservative" party that brought this overbearing massive government to us.

Certainly breeds even more confidence this is a trained agent.
Also, for any of those "Second Amendment" folks out there, if you are concealed carrying and that guy points that gun out the window, what is your split second reaction? Do you move and take it as a threat and shoot to protect yourself? Do you go by what he says and hope he isn't lying if he says "ICE!" as you see that dot moving toward your chest?
And, if a citizen who happens to be brown uses his Second Amendment right and kills this masked gunman out of fear for his life, who do you defend, the citizen asserting the right to self-protect that you have been arguing in favor of for decades, or the right of ICE to be masked unidentified agents going after people based on profiling?

Without seeing the rest of the vehicle there is absolutely nothing to visibly identify him as a federal agent. After COVID one of the arguments against mask policy was that people would mask up and go rob people. And now we have reports of people claiming to be ICE agents and using that as cover to commit crimes.
So we have someone in a mask pointing a gun at you and even if they are saying they are ICE you don't know if they are telling the truth or not. This seems like a good way for an incident to happen.
And maybe this is what some want. They put people whose training is questionable in dangerous situations and if something tragic happens then they have a martyr.

Frankly, since Trump is empowering his private army who deny due process, both Trump and his highly paid thugs should personally pay for lawsuits. NOT the taxpayer.
