my favorite argument for why we should get rid of ALL illegal immigrants is ´well, they broke the law by sneaking into the US´...our frickin´ president is a convicted felon x34...

For some they feel simply living here has the potential to be a capital crime. Its easy to think about someone being deported and that is that. The reality is deportation is a death sentence for some, be it by crime in their home country, lack of basic necessities, or just ending up in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I bring this up every time and they always respond “I think they should go after the employers, too.” But, they don’t really care. If Trump decided to go after drugs instead of immigrants and had rounded up hundreds of thousands of drug users but less than 10 drug dealers everyone would be up in arms.

Perfect example in today paper. Hyundai plant raided and a bunch of illegal workers detained. No mention of a single executive detained for bringing all the illegal workers here.
