Houston @ OSU

The Cowboys played winning basketball for about 34 minutes. The technical turned the game in Houston’s favor and the Cowboys faded away instead of fighting back unfortunately. This program really needs a couple of players come in and be team leaders that will hold team mates accountable for the boneheaded plays they make. I imagine that is hard to do when you bring in so many transfers.

It’s definitely arguable that it’s just as important for Steve to improve at coaching in the offseason as it is to assemble the right roster with leaders. Steve needs to be a leader. He let Roy basically do whatever he wanted this season.

Except for the Big Fallah down low, he didn't have a ton of other options for scoring this season. But ultimately finding an answer to scoring and effort is on him.

Meanwhile, Ben McCollum is 20-10 at Iowa and likely headed to the Big Dance. Players took less money to play for him in Iowa City.

Oh don’t I know it. I’m also an Iowa fan since I live here and went to school there, but they are not that great. Stirtz carries that team. They had a lot of talented guys follow McCollum there from Drake. Lutz had no one follow him from WKU. He couldn’t even get Don McHenry to follow him who averages 17 points for Utah.

Win the two games vs TCU that you were very much in, and win just 2 out of Baylor, ASU, Cincy, Colorado or ou and you are practically a lock. Seriously, how did we lose so badly to a bad Baylor team at home.

But it's not all bad...we beat the regular season champs in the American and SWAC....so, you know, at least we could probably be competitive in those conferences.

Also, how is Auburn still being picked to get in.....the powers that be are pushing so hard to get more SEC and Big 10 teams in. What a crock.

Well you’ve got Bruce Pearl being a complete schill for his son’s team & media giving him airtime.

We play Colorado on Tuesday 6:30 PST in the first round. I think we have a case if we can win 2. We would be 20-13.
With zero Q1 wins?

You’re probably a lot more informed than me, but if they’re talking about an undefeated Miami (OH) team vs a .500 Auburn team getting in I don’t see how we have a snowball’s chance.

And frankly, the sports fan in me would rather see some non P4 who’s had a great season get in vs. a $7m roster team that defines mediocrity. It’s akin to arguing a 3 or 4 loss SEC team into the CFP that beats nobody good, but hey look at who we lost to!
