BREAKING: We just won a preliminary injunction against the Trump administration requiring the DOJ to turn over records on an expedited basis about their efforts to compile millions of Americans’ sensitive voter data from states across the country.

As the judge’s opinion put it, “CREW argues persuasively that there is a strong public interest in understanding the details of DOJ’s efforts to compile a national voter list, which may affect individuals’ and States’ decisions about how to protect both voter privacy and the fundamental right to vote.”

And because the administration is making unprecedented policy changes as elections approach rapidly, “there is an unusually strong public interest in timely disclosure.”

According to Janice Johnston, vice chair of the Georgia State Election Board, investigators found evidence suggesting that America PAC violated state law by sending voters prefilled absentee ballot applications, which are permitted only for authorized relatives.

Officials also said the materials failed to clearly state they were not official government documents or ballots.


The board quickly voted to issue a formal reprimand to America PAC. The action comes weeks after President Donald Trump claimed Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard had been present near a federal raid at a Fulton County elections office tied to alleged foreign interference.
