Sounds like Trump wants to go back to hand counting votes. That is what my mother and aunt did long ago on election day, precinct 3 at Lincoln School. Today, to get the results out the same evening after the polls closed, counting the votes would probably have to start early in the day, especially on the heaviest voting days. An interesting question to ask is would the election results be periodically posted before polls are closed? So, if your candidate is running behind and you haven't voted, better go do it. If not, cell phones would have to be banned from the vote counting room.
