Fayetteville Regional

Well, not getting 2 in tonight, so that's a plus.
Hope you are correct.

In summary:
There isn't a universal "latest start time" mandated by the NCAA for women's softball. Instead, a combination of factors such as curfews, weather, TV schedules, and player well-being considerations shape the latest possible start time for a given game.

Weather:
  • Games delayed by weather before the first pitch generally have a deadline of 10 p.m. to start or they may be postponed.
  • Player Well-being:
    • While not a hard rule, the welfare of student-athletes is a consideration when scheduling late games.

At worst it should be 0-1. No angle showed indisputable evidence for overturning that call at home, and that last run walked in was a missed strike call.

Not a lot of effort in that AB from Godwin who pops out in the infield
Edwards, who still thinks she's a HR hitter, flies out lazily to RF. She seems to get a pass but she is a major disappointment at the plate.
Warsop rolls out to SS

What a wimper that was

Oh man Ruby served that one up, lucky it stayed in the park, double to LCF
and another single scores a run. Hathoot may have had a play but bobbled it.
--Crandall in
--wild pitch
Groundout to SS, runner to 3rd
Double off the wall, RBI
Strikeout swinging
Double down LF line, RBI
Ellis taps out to pitcher

6-0 Arky

Laying an egg so far which is disappointing but somewhat emblematic of the season when you consider the offensive production yesterday. This team is the epitome of inconsistency.

There's no other choice, but I don't see anything from Crandall that even gives a reason for optimism. She was bad before the injury, and sure she gets some grace to get back into form, but we're long past that. For some reason we were thrilled when she "only" gave up 3 runs in 3 innings the other day. Again, I get you have to give her a shot with Meylan not doing anything.
