Cowgirls win 16-8 on the run rule. Gutsy perfromance after the gut punch ealier today and givng up 2 early runs.
I don't know how they put together 14 innings tomorrow, but at least they have a shot.

Maybe the offense will light it up and we will only have to play 10 innings! Seriously, we can afford zero mistakes tomorrow. Have to swing at good pitches and put the ball in play. Can’t give up cheap baserunners. Someone whose first name doesn’t begin with an “R”, needs to give us a couple of good innings. Keep the pressure on Arky. They have choked in a regional before.

My guess is that the strategy will be to start RyLee and see how far she gets us, while hoping we put up some runs, and then let Ruby finish. Maybe in both games.

Top seeds A&M, Oregon, Duke, and Arizona need to win two games today.

Florida, Clemson, Texas, South Carolina, Tennessee have advanced. Auburn beat FSU to force an as-necessary game. OU is pounding Cal and Tech is leading MSU.
