House GOP has written up six pages of talking points for Republicans designed to defend Trump when the Epstein Files are finally released. The memo was leaked, which is telling in its own way. (Link to story with full memo in replies.)

The memo includes the following talking point which, I'm not sure, and I could be wrong, but looks absolutely ridiculous:

If he gets her out, he has ti impeached for releasing a mass serial child rapist.

If he doesn't, she may release what she is blackmailing him over.

This could get really fun.

I don't think anything could impeach/remove him at this point if it involves congress. Jan 6th should have been an easy vote to get him out but if Republicans in the senate lacked the courage to do anything then I doubt this would make a difference.

Not saying he wouldn't deserve it as it would be a horrific pardon but just that it won't happen.

What a surprise:

The memo, first published by Fox News, outlines how congressional Republicans should direct any discussion surrounding the contents of the Epstein Files away from Trump, and outlined a list of accusations to allege against journalists and Democratic lawmakers. In essence, the memo gives step-by-step instructions on how to utilize a psychological manipulation tactic known as DARVO (deny, attack, reverse victim and offender) in order to brush aside any alleged wrongdoing by the president, while villainizing his opposition and framing Trump as the victim.

The law passed by Congress requires all to be released by today

NEWS: Deputy AG Todd Blanche says the DOJ will only release a partial batch of the Epstein files today, rather than all of them. Blanche says DOJ needs more time to make redactions.

the FBI has spent over $1 MILLION in overtime pay just for agents working on Redacting those files
