EA NCAA football payouts per school

Hah - $99k won't even get you a decent guard. Left, right OR point.
That’s not true but let’s pretend it is, what about a better softball player? Or tennis, or track and field? Or soccer? Or better yet, golfers. Or divided up among wrestlers?

There are lots of sports and not everyone is making $100k. In fact, very few are in the grand scheme of things. It’s $100k the school doesn’t need but has to account for a use. Why not take EA’s money and send it right back to the athletes?

The new NIL era and being a long term Poke fan has broken some of you.😂😂😂

Pretty elite to be in the top 10...I mean...just compare the budgets between the tier 1 schools.

New Big 12

Tier 1: Oklahoma State and Utah

Tier 2: Cincinnati, TCU, Baylor, UCF, K-State, Arizona, WVU, Houston, and BYU.

Tier 3: Kansas, Colorado, Iowa State, and Arizona State.

Tier 4: Texas Tech

Haha Tier 4 aka "Y'all should be paying us to include you Tier"

Nebraska 😲 ...yikes. Go B1G. Poster children of realignment regret

For those who are wondering. The list comes from the final AP poll appearances since 2014 (the debut of the CFP playoff). If you received 6 or more final AP poll rankings, you’re in tier 1.

We received exactly 6 in ‘15, ‘16, ‘17, ‘20, ‘21, ‘23.

Keep in mind, there’s not a difference between finishing Top 3 or finishing at #25. This explains why TCU and Texas are not in tier 1 despite both being the CFP the last two years. Opposite is true with Iowa. They are Tier 1, but mostly finished in the #20-#25 range.

I would say Nebraska's decline is due to the elimination of partial qualifiers. They jumped conferences at the right time to get the big bucks. If they didn't leave the Big 12 when they did, there's no way the B1G would take them now.
