I like that choice. Who do you like as OC? I wish we could steal Arroyo from ASU.Brian Smith from Rice listed as a possible DC
There are so many bright offensive coaches out there...pipe dream would be Marion from UNLV.I like that choice. Who do you like as OC? I wish we could steal Arroyo from ASU.

I'd take Beck from New MexicoThere are so many bright offensive coaches out there...pipe dream would be Marion from UNLV.
I'd love for us to keep Dunn in some capacity, but "firing" seems like he's being kicked to the curb.Good luck to both of them, Dunn is a longtime Cowboy, so I hope he lands on his feet. Now let’s go and find the absolutely best OC and DC available and hopefully two that will bring significantly talented players with them!
Unfortunately you can't demote coordinators back to assistants while also bringing in outside coordinators. Could lead to a situation of players turning to Dunn instead of the new guy even if Dunn doesn't want that to happen.I'd love for us to keep Dunn in some capacity, but "firing" seems like he's being kicked to the curb.
Demotions rarely work out well for both parties.I'd love for us to keep Dunn in some capacity, but "firing" seems like he's being kicked to the curb.
Well, and he did it with Rice's playersNot a total juggernaut by any means but Rice was 36th in the country in D1 in total defense and we were 132nd this year. Their defense defended 796 plays and allowed 5.04 yards per play. Ours defended 882 plays and allowed 6.81 yards per play. Looks like it would be an improvement, not sure how much.
I like Leftwich and Davis a lot. If Marion isn't a HC next year, he will be somewhere like Michigan or Florida State. Some OC names I like
Jason Beck - New Mexico
Mack Leftwich - Texas State
Jordan Davis - North Texas
Longshot guys:
Brennan Marion - UNLV
Buster Faulkner - Georgia Tech
Joe Craddock - Tulane
