Just got back after 3 days hunting. Does and fawns everywhere. Almost everything right at dark.

Couple young bucks running around grunting and trying to chase. No mature bucks seen. Guys are still seeing them on camera at night.

Should be any day I'd think. I won't be back until rifle.

I can always tell the rut is in full force when there are 5 dead deer per mile on the Will Rogers Turnpike.

Put a cattle guard on the truck and see if you can get a big one.

I don’t need to hunt them. They find me. These were in my yard when I got home from church this afternoon. Two of them were lying down in my yard and hardly moved when I got out of the car.

We’ve got a huge buck that has no problem being out during the middle of the day
