Yep, OU treasured this rivalry so much they shat all over it on the way out the door. 2nd longest continual rivalry behind Wisconsin/Minnesota, and they DGAF compared to those SEC dollars. GTFO with that sentimental crap, y’all showed what it takes to tip the scales & its money; everything else including that tradition you speak of meant 0.

Zip it & piss off to your new home. I hope the Boys do their F-ing jobs & send you off with a fat L & guarantee your spot on the couch with Texas in December.

Youd be lying if you said you aren’t going to miss this game. Even nationally, people enjoy watching it, it’s been one of the better rivalries these last 20 years

And it’s usually the most electric game atmosphere of the season for either stadium. Look at these ridiculous ticket prices. You know it’s going to be loud, it’s not just about the rankings and position for conference titles. There’s a real disdain here. Do you even feel half the hatred for anyone else in the big 12 that you do for OU?

I know the city of Stillwater likes all the excitement and business just as much as they do in Norman. Pretty sure this one’s a sellout. The. Then The TV viewership, and additionally this year that the winners in the driver seat for a conference championship game. Can you genuinely say that there will be a home game that will feel like this again in the near future? Nothing feels quite like beating a rival

I know that you guys really want to win, and it’s just different than when you’re playing Iowa State or BYU or Baylor or whoever else is left in the big 12. It’s I believe the second longest intact playing streak for a rivalry in the country, I think I saw theyve played 113 seasons straight

I’ve been thinking, I know Oklahoma still has Texas. And there’s no love lost between them and Aggie, and there’s some history with Florida and Alabama, there’s heupel at Tennessee and Beamer at South Carolina. Some regional interest with Arkansas- there’s just going to be a lot of good rivalries to get into. But what will OSU call a rival anymore? What do you guys say will be the most exciting, or the game you must look forward to (winning) every season? In my opinion, it’s the rivalries and the hatred and having someone you really want to beat bad that’s really the best part about this game. We all love watching those

You simply will never understand the differences in fanbases. There will be rivalries...

I am a bit disappointed in myself this morning. Living just off of North Washington here in Stillwater I should have set a 2 am alarm. Then grabbed a gallon of white paint and wrote ou sucks on the south bound lane for all the fans to see today on their drive in from 412.

I'm disappointed in College Gameday...shoulda been in Stilly...AND disappointed in OSU's ticket people/dept/etc...I usually go with a buddy who is a HS coach and gets two free tickets to games through the HS football coaches association or something...every Monday morning they open up the sign in thing on website and when the tickets are claimed, they close the sign ups...well, this week he got on early Monday and it was already closed, looked at it several times to see if there was just a delay or whatever, finally contacted the person who is in charge of said tickets and was told there were none available...either gonna see a bunch of goon fans in coaches section or they decided to sell some of them...
will cheer on from my comfortable chair today....Go Pokes!!
