Current Board Feelings about the President of the United States

Trump wouldn't have been possible if both the Republican and Democratic Party didn't wash the feet of Fortune 500 CEOs and Lobbyists and were more concerned with representing their constituents.

There wasn't an answer that adequately reflects my views. I voted one way, and then changed it. The best answer for me would be:

I despise DJT. He is a risk to the future of our republic. But occasionally he gets something right and when he does I will agree with him.

But then again, I would give any president credit if they did something I thought was right. To wit, President Clinton formally apologized for the Tuskegee Syphilis experiment. IMHO, it was the very best thing Clinton ever did, and it was way too long coming.

I wrote it the way I did on purpose.

If someone despises every single thing a president does, that person is simply being biased and unrealistic. So I didn't add "I hate every policy" to any of them. It is unrealistic to hate every single policy move a president makes.

But, at the point you are concerned or feel the president is a risk to the republic, who cares if you support some policies? If your daughter wanted to date some dude and you were concerned he is a rapist, you wouldn't mention that it was nice of him to bring flowers. It made no sense to me to write "I support some of DJT's policies, but he is a risk to the republic" any more than "I support that guy bringing my daughter flowers, but I'm worried he is going to rape her."
