What is a quad 4 team?

Every team wants a player like that. And there aren’t a lot of those to go around. You make it sound like 6-4 post that can shoot are growing on trees.

Jacie needs to find a way to get Stailee involved in the offense next year. Only
3 points tonight.

Sharp dropoff from last year. Purely anecdotal, but having her sister on the team seems to have been detrimental.

Prairie view A&M, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, New Orleans, East Texas A&M, Mississippi Valley State. Those are wins that don’t help you get higher seeds. She’s known to play a soft schedule but this years non conference schedule was pathetic in terms of quality of opponent.

Yes there’s more 6’4 players than you think. Not that hard to find!! Basketball is a global sport. There plenty of 6’4 post players. Hell we had two 6’5 post players riding the bench this season.

Akot has no business playing the 5. She’s a wing and need to be playing such unless we go small ball. Wooten needs to start going forward and need to recruit guards that can play some defense.

Akot was playing the 5 more from necessity, which does speak to a miss in finding someone else in the portal.

Whiting was/is an outstanding defender. Wooten is a good one also. Gray wasn't. Timmer wasn't. But they are both gone. Wooten only averaging 28 minutes a game is crazy to me, when Timmer averaged 30.

I mean we took 3-4 post players out of the portal…it’s quite possible we whiffed on all of them. Jacie likes to play small ball to a fault outside of last season. Gray and timmer can’t guard and they’re only valuable when they knock down 3’s.

If cowgirl basketball wants to make deeper runs in the postseason, Hoyt needs to make a few adjustments to her program IMO
