Cowgirls in the NCAA Tournament

NCAA WBB selection show is Sunday night at 7:00 on ESPN.

After looking at several projections, we will be an 8 or 9 seed. I saw brackets with us in all of the regionals and playing first round games at Connecticut, South Carolina, UCLA, and Texas. Various first game opponents were Syracuse, Tennessee, Oregon, and USC.

Princeton only lost three games, getting swept by Columbia and losing at Maryland. Obviously their SOS is not great.

Let’s hope Hoyt can finally win an ncaa game. Should they win, they’ll get curb stomped by UCLA.

Princeton is 38 in NET, OSU is 29. Neither team is strong defensively. OSU slightly better offensively. Princeton doesn't appear to about the 3 as much as OSU.

Both teams primarily play 6 players, with only 2 more averaging double digits minutes/game. Size is comparable, but Praise will be the tallest that'll play. Princeton has two 6'2 girls who combine to average 18min, 4 points, 4.5 rebound/game.

Should be a closely contested match. Can Hoyt get her first NCAA win?
