I would have liked to see Crandall or Downing get this inning. Not so much to rest Ruby but to see if you can keep gaining some confidence.

I would expect downing to start and Crandall to come in to relief against Tulsa. I agree I would have downing an inning
Cowgirls need to come out and put a curb stomping on UT this week. They played a month ago and Ruby had to come in for several innings to keep OSU from getting blown out. Then, the Cowgirls had to rally from a 6-5 deficit going into the 7th to win 10-7. We don’t need any of that crap this week.
Kansas series will be tough at home. They hit the ball really well. Their RPI is in the upper 50’s and they have only played eight Quad 1 games, whereas OSU has played 20. Feels like we need to sweep. They have several pitchers with starting experience, but their ERAs are at least in the mid 3’s with WHIPs of 1.50+. KU won two of three at home vs. IowaState this weekend. They are 13-8 in conference, one game behind OSU.

EffKU is 1 game behind us in the standings. Need 2 of 3 to lock in 3rd and stay on opposing side of Tech in the tournament.
Although you have to play them anyway so does that matter?
I am wondering if we need to sweep KU to host a regional. Not really thinking about conference standings.

I think they'd still host with just winning 2 of 3.
The RPI is at 14 and wouldn't drop from going 3-1 next week, I don't think.
And no team (other than OUs HRs) has gotten more national pub than OSU has the last few weeks, so that will be in the back of the committees minds, too.
