Building in Girl's Basketball is tough. It is very top-heavy. It took Dawn Staley 3 seasons at South Carolina to make the NCAA tournament and that was before the transfer portal madness.

I’ve thought this very thing watching Iowa. They’ve got really nice pieces but wo Clark they’re not much better than sweet 16 and probably more like round of 32. LSU has 4 really good players and Johnson will be a star for the next 2 yrs.

Yet another guard, 7.4 ppg, 36% from 3p., 83% FT. She has 3 years left. 6’2”. Not a starter at Montana.
She was considered the top recruit in Colorado by one publication and had better offers (North Carolina for one), but went to Montana to play with her older sister.
