These midweek games are scheduled to develop the players that don’t normally start, especially the pitching staff. At some point the pitching staff have to step up and be competitive. In the Big12 you cannot afford to burn weekend pitchers to save a midweek game.

Josh and Hawk are trying to develop the pitching staff during these midweek games and the pitching staff is not responding. If we do not see improvement soon, it is going to be a very long season.

At some point the players gotta play.

Well said..doesn’t help their freshman that are used to dominating, and the littlest of adversity they fold! At some point they are going to have to get mentally tougher. This isn’t HS anymore….people are going to get hits and it’s okay!!
