Ohh boy...just waiting to hear the dumb ass Immigration and citizenship anti God rhetoric about these when they come to the US

Somebody hasn't bothered to read "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley.

American healthcare will cause these to boom if approved here

IVF is $15k - $25k PER treatment with a success rate of 25%-60%

These robots cost $14k and can used again and again
Have you read “Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley?

If you had, you would have gotten the point I was making.

It had nothing to do with health care costs or advances.

I get it. I'm drawing a second line next to yours

There are going to be a bunch of branches to shake on this tree

It worries me that these are the only negatives you take from this.

1 out of 37 children born THIS YEAR will be because of Assisted Reproductive Technology

Please explain to me how an artificial womb is negative and ART used today is acceptable and ok ?

95,000 children born in the US ALONE will have been artificially conceived this year

If you didn't already understand this by now and didn't see this has been the destination of Reproductive science since the late 70s , then I suggest some books .

You seem to view this as solely positive and anyone that expresses concern as….
dumb ass Immigration and citizenship anti God rhetoric

That’s not necessarily true.

The Southern Baptist voted to reject IVF at their last conference

My point is that yes there are legit concerns and ethical things to consider...but we won't

In the US we aren't going to even get to those relevant points points and will be arguing dumb ass ideas like US citizenship, how these kids affect voting and Representative counts, how much of a person these kids count as on a census and stupid ignorant crap like that

They will be called immoral, they will be rejected as not kids of God and all kinds of "Christian" hate will be aimed at them...simply for having life

Of course they will, but the people rejecting the idea is not the problem you want to make it.
But as long as it fits your rhetoric, fire away. 🙄

If your initial reaction to a developing ethical question is to assume the primary objections will be "dumbass ideas," you're part of the problem.

In this particular argument, you sir, are the pot AND the kettle.

But I'm sure China would NEVER release anything on the world that could be detrimental to mankind, right?
As of 2025, artificial womb technology is advancing rapidly, with models like EXTEND showing promise for improving outcomes for extremely premature infants.

US is morally and ethically pursuing the tech as artificial wombs used only in the case of Premature Babies. Other countries are taking it all the way back to Conception. Many are Close to achieving this and Several Countries are on the same Cusp as China in this tech.

This particular tech pursuit is ALREADY being hampered in the US based on Religious and Ethical concerns to be targeted at Premature babies ONLY. We are ALREADY losing this tech race and ability to lead the world and Thus SET THE POLICY AND NARRATIVE of this tech on a Global Level due to our self imposed Cultural Restraints

Current Developments

  1. EXTEND Model: Developed at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the EXTEND (EXTrauterine Environment for Neonatal Development) model aims to provide a womb-like environment for extremely premature infants. This model allows babies to develop in a fluid-filled bag, mimicking the conditions of a natural womb, which could significantly reduce the risks associated with premature birth.

  2. Clinical Trials: Researchers are preparing for human clinical trials of the EXTEND model. The technology has been tested on lambs, showing positive results, and the next step involves obtaining FDA approval for human testing. The goal is to use this technology for infants born at 22 or 23 weeks of gestation, who typically have very few options for survival.

  3. Global Research: Other teams worldwide, including those in Australia and Japan, are also developing similar artificial womb technologies. These devices aim to provide a safe environment for premature infants to continue developing outside the womb, potentially improving survival rates and reducing complications associated with prematurity.

Not assuming
There is enough empirical evidence at this point that it's a working hypothesis
Working hypothesis are subject to testing and analysis.

"My point is that yes there are legit concerns and ethical things to consider...but we won't" is an assumption and a conclusory statement, not a working hypothesis.

"There are legit concerns and ethical things to consider....but we won't."

Ergo, any concerns or objections made are de facto not legit.
