Man, I hope Lanning isn't bothered too much by the smoke. We've seen how sensitive he is.Weather is going to be in the 70s and cloudy, we've had some smoke from a forest fire drift into Eugene the last couple days. The fire is about 60 miles east of Eugene.

No, it seems to be a trend to get offended by the truthCan't he just own that daddy bought him a slick ride?!?
If it actually happened like that prediction I’d be OK. It would bode well for our Big 12 chances!
We had a little rain last night, that should take care of the smoke. Oh, and "It NEVER rains at Autzen Stadium"Weather is going to be in the 70s and cloudy, we've had some smoke from a forest fire drift into Eugene the last couple days. The fire is about 60 miles east of Eugene.
Who’s offended? Lanning was asked about Gundy’s comments and stated the obvious. No, it seems to be a trend to get offended by the truth
Neither coach said anything wrong or out-of-pocket.Who’s offended? Lanning was asked about Gundy’s comments and stated the obvious.
Like I said, I’ve got a ton of respect for Coach Gundy," Lanning said. "Ultimately, how blessed are we being at a place that’s invested in winning. If you want to be a top 10 team in college football, you better be invested in winning and we spend to win. Some people save to have an excuse for why they don’t. Ultimately, he’s a great coach that’s done an unbelievable job, but I want to be a team that’s competing at the highest level and we’re really fortunate to be in that situation. I can’t speak on their situation; I have no idea what they got in their pockets over there. I’m sure UT Martin maybe didn’t have as much as them last week, and they played. So we’ll let it play out."
I’ve had time to think about it and you’re right. It’s not an incredibly stupid look by Gundy to publicly state this in front of the world and his team. It’s pure brilliance on his part. Nothing says leader like this!Neither coach said anything wrong or out-of-pocket.

I told our team right before the game, it never requires extra motivation for an opportunity to go out and kick ass,” said Lanning. “But it never hurts when someone pours gasoline on the fire. I felt like these guys wanted the chance to go and prove who they are. I’ve got a lot of respect for Coach Gundy. But at his press conference, he’s probably saying, ‘See, I told you so.’ That’s probably what his comment is. But that doesn’t change the way we have to play to be a winning
Yep, both are right and both are using things to their advantage. As has been stated, Gundy was either saying "I need more $$$ support" or "get ready for why we're gonna get mudholed" or a combo of the two.As I said, neither coach has said anything wrong yet.
