Big 12 Tournament

Oh well, a win would have been nice but we weren’t going to win the tournament after burning all 4 starters in two games. And it doesn’t really impact tournament seeding.

The ku one hit wonder losers can get their celebration out because there’s no way they make it out of a regional.

It’s not the losing: it’s the playing tight after any kind of success, it’s the swinging at terrible pitches and watching BP pitches down the middle, it’s the piss poor body language, it’s watching hitters have no clue at the plate besides a Hr swing no matter the situation, it’s the lack of fire in the pitchers, it’s the lack of swagger and leadership in veteran guys (you can’t even tell who upperclassmen are), it’s the low defensive IQ consistently…it’s a lot of losing baseball

Our horrible record in games like this show how Josh's obsession with analytics is flawwed.

The new trend is shoot bulk threes in basketball and in the long run it's better than taking twos, but what do you fall back on when the game is tied and you desperately need a bucket?

Giving up quality ABs for the sake of hitting HRs is the same, sure over a 162 game MLB season it might pay off, but in a 50 game college season, you really better hit some at a record pace, because again, when you need that big hit or need to move the runner from 2nd to 3rd after a leadoff double, what do you fall back on?

Couple that with terrible relief pitching and you have a team that is barely above .500

Gabe Davis is the poster child for Josh Holliday baseball

They're probably still in the post season but I have little expectation. They're bad at everything except starting pitching
You know I don’t think so. We’d be a #4 seed at best if we did go and they’d have to deny a trip to a small school team with a good record which I don’t think they should do. I’m betting that baseball and softball seasons are over for this year.
Thank God for the Thunder!
