Bedlam softball

I HATE OU’S ANTICS. I respect their talent and recruiting and dominance. I loathe their overzealous excessive sarcastic antics and always will

Remember Meylan came into this season with a career ERA over 3.00.

This is really the first time she's been "the" go to pitcher expected to shut everyone down. And like the rest of her team, she's just not quite ready for it.

But it would be hard to know that there's nobody else to help you out, and you may not get run support either.

B5
Kutz hits a batter who eventually comes around to score on a 2 out single

And a double makes it 9-3

Another double makes it 10-3

Single ends the game, 11-3 final

This is the most fragile team I'm ever seen

From Oklahoman:

“We can’t keep saying, ‘Here it goes again,’” Gajewski said. “We gotta find a way to get tougher, and we gotta find a way to dig in and go.
“That’s what this team is lacking right now. It’s just lacking that last little toughness piece to get us through. We’ll get there. I know I’m Positive Perry here, but that’s how I feel.”

OSU pitcher Ruby Meylan rode quite the rollercoaster of emotions Wednesday.

She vomited from nerves before the game. She cried while answering questions afterward.

Kenny in postgame:

"I feel bad and embarrased for our fans."

Mentions great play by OU to save 2 runs, then they turn around with a 5 run inning, that's what great teams do.

"I'm excited to see how we'll bounce back Friday at noon at home."

Except for Texas, I believe there are no more ranked teams on the schedule. The only hope is that this team can gain confidence and rack up a lot of wins. I'm not confident they can do that, because they are just too inconsistent. They'll win more than they lose, but I just don't see the attitude from anyone not named Davis to be a great team.

Bad throw by Bloodworth and the inability for Rosie to recognize Bloodworth's positioning and turn a double play allowed OU to have big innings.

Oh they have a home series this weekend? That sounds rough. Surprised they didn't try to move it. At least try to move it to OKC.

Yea I just assume that Stillwater is going to packed the entire weekend. Guess it could help attendance since people are already there anyways
They’ve added 2 more elevated rows to the outlaw section in left field. The top section is probably 15’ off the ground. From behind traveling down McElroy it looks amazing.

Apparently there are no tickets left for this weekend.
