So when the football team sucked the basketball team was playing well. Now that we hired a good coach and have a monster portal class and football appears to be trending up, the basketball team starts sucking again. Coincidence? Probably
Lutz didn’t have much time to put this group together. The next on will be better.

Every time, going all the way back to Sean Sutton‘s short tenure, the coaches ask/beg the fans to come back, and they promptly lay an absolute egg.
I was getting back into it, now I'm back to focusing on the Thunder if they are playing on the same night. Like last night.

Kstate Saturday is a must win. Need to win 3 of the next 4 to get back on track. Have TCU on the road and ISU at home, need to at least split that, then beat a below avg Utah team on the road.
Donors ponied up to buy Lutz a pretty talented roster. Tons of athleticism, no reason you can’t be at least average defensively. We’ve had 2 of 4 B12 games where teams just ran us out of the gym, no resistance. Lutz has got to figure out a lineup or a change up defensively when a team gets hot like those two games.

The problem I have with lutz is that he is not holding these guys accountable. If you don’t force them to change then it’s going to be the same result.
Perfect example… when Coleman through that lazy… he would have been on the bench for a minimum of 2min. Also, the guys we have don’t physically get involved in playing defense.
We don’t get out on the perimeter and move are arms and get up close to opposing players. We let them move the ball and don’t deny help side. We did better doing it against Iowa state then regressed.
We have to start getting these guys to understand a better way to defend and be held accountable for careless play
