Just got home from the game. Bodendorf is a stud, even when he doesn’t have his best stuff. He kept a very good offensive team in check all night. Davis could learn some things from him re: the mental part of the game.

Off the bat I thought that last out was going to tie the game. Good on Davis to close it out, but man it would be nice to see him get through that 9th inning with little to no traffic on the bases. Hopefully he gained some confidence from that outing. We are going to need him in the Big12 tourney.

Youngerman was great when he was a closer. Maybe have him continue as Sunday starter but use as closer on other games or during Tournament have him close when we have a lead in the ninth inning.

Ortiz still hobbling but a much better hitting than Culbertson. Seems Shull hasn’t played in several weeks so he may be injured.

If we get to the Championship Game would we have Bodendorf start or have Watkins start? Now being a bubble team it is being reported that if we win ASU series and 2-3 in tournament we should be in the regionals.
