The staff really whiffed in the portal last off season. None of those signees have contributed much to this team. We made a run at Maya Johnson and then she went back to Belmont. She is 21-2 this season with a 0.63 era. One loss was 1-0 to the then top-ranked UT Volunteers. She might have helped a bit.

We will need to bring in a couple of stud pitchers this year, but I question whether Eberle canWRuby gone there will be nobody. They need at least two.

With Ruby gone, the cupboard will be totally empty. But, there will be some NIL money. He better real aggressive in the offseason.

The bigger question is how much longer does the Eberle-Parker experiment continue?
