American Healthcare continues to go backward

It wasn't a bad time to scapegoat marijuana for something like this but didn't. But then Trump is to come out with plans to make it classified as less dangerous.

Okay, people are recording TikToks chugging acetaminophen to own Trump. Someone is going to kill their liver. Let’s not be stupid.

Uggh, this is the crap that people “doing their own research” read.

Is that from the Journal of Irreproducible Results?

Now men are recording TikToks chugging acetaminophen to own Trump.

Idiot Facepalm GIF

She’s an obstetrician. There is absolutely no way she can know whether or not her child will have autism whether or not she takes acetaminophen. What’s more, a pregnant woman shouldn’t take anything without a clear need.

Acetaminophen doesn’t cause autism. There likely isn’t a cause of autism, and none has ever been identified. But let’s not be stupid just to own Trump.

Nancy Mace: "You've got pregnant women recording videos of themselves taking Tylenol, which has now been linked to autism. They hate Trump more than they love their babies ... they're denying science."

They better worry about the maximum dosage advisory that come with Tylenol, rather than what Trump said about Tylenol.

We have people in power making broad claims around certain drugs and autism that have been continuously disproven. The degree to which those comments can undermine public health, do harm to women who are pregnant, create anxiety for parents who do have children who are autistic – is violence against the truth.

There is no medication that is safe that there isn’t a clear need for. Unless there is a clear need the risks always outweigh the benefits.

Everything has potential adverse effects, even water and oxygen. I’ve seen patients hospitalized with cerebral edema from water intoxication, and I’ve seen people die from pulmonary fibrosis from breathing high concentrations of oxygen for too long. If water and oxygen, two of the most basic substances necessary for life on the planet have adverse effects, then everything does.

I just flat don’t understand what people are doing.

You turn anything scientific political and people lose their minds. Tylenol should be about as apolitical as it gets. You have a headache take it. Your doctor says to hold off, dont take it. There should be nothing related to federal policy with that
