So what’s up with the random SEC programs getting top guys? Alabama a few yrs ago now Bruce the Snake Pearl bringing in elite talent again…? It can’t just be the resume…?

I feel we have fallen so far behind that Coach kinda likes the low expectations for a couple yrs until he can create his culture and system. I like what I’ve seen and heard so far!

SEC boosters are loaded and care so much about sports that they are willing to do whatever to make their team successful. It also helps that Bruce is probably a top 20 coach that has had relevant success in the past 5 years with a final four appearance.

I think if we get to the second weekend in the journey in any of the years with Boynton the trajectory of our program completely changes. If we made a final four we are talking about being just a step below the traditional blue bloods.

Coach has got a system and think that when he gets his group in the next couple of years we have a real shot at getting back to that second weekend success that we expected in the early 2000s

Obviously we’d take the talent and kudos to the staff for getting a visit. But it’s not a great thing the write up scouting report here’s says he is not really fit for uptempo; seems he doesn’t fit Lutz’s system right away. But I guess you get the talent and figure it out and obviously guys either adapt to college conditioning or they die.
