Maybe I'm drinking the orange kool-aid but hopefully these guys they are bringing in are guys that are underutilized at their current school and are just looking for a fresh start.

I definitely get a Moneyball vibe from the coaching staff and GM.

Is that the amount of guys we need out of the portal?

I think we have 26 or so from current roster staying. 15 from most recent class and 29 transfers currently.

This leaves roughly 35 left to fill the 105 man scholarship roster. Could be off but this is what I got

That is fair. There is a lot up in the air still, so I am curious what the totals end up being.

My memory was that he redshirted immediately after Gundy was let go. Was there ever verification that he was injured? Or did he just basically get paid to take a redshirt year?

I never saw that he was hurt, just that he was redshirting but staying to see who the new coaches were. Yes, basically got paid to sit on the sidelines.
