Add in Sylvester as DH and thats great, dangerous bats top to bottom. Defense looks to be solid too if Meola is as good at 2nd as he was at 3rd last year. Now let's hope Walton can work some magic.

Beau is going to be in heavy rotation at catcher.

Crull will get the early start when Benge is DH/P, but Ritchie, Galvin, & LaSalle are all capable of playing OF or DH.

4. Brueggeman
5. Wulfert
6. Whoever the DH is going to be. Sylvester?
7. Forsythe
8. Meola
9. Daugherty

This line up can do some serious damage. If the pitching staff is just above average could be a good year.

I would think they would like to break up the left handed bats. Also have Forsythe at the bottom of the line up as another lead off.

Is the 1-8 record for Garcia a typo?

No. But the staff liked how he scouted as a portal pitcher. And obviously him being the opening day starter speaks to the confidence they have in his stuff.

His ERA as a soph was 1.94. His junior year at High Point just didn’t have the same success for whatever reason. We think we can get him back to that sophomore level success.
