The post game show did not sound optimistic regarding Barrett. Losing your Friday night guy (after losing Watkins in the fall) would be a real gut punch. I agree with what you've said, the team has shown some things to be excited about early but losing Barrett is going to be tough to overcome.

Season in a nutshell right there. Absolutely horrendous bullpen and defensive fundamentals. And sat on a 2-run lead and squandered many scoring opportunities to build the lead. All of us who have watched this season knew 2 runs wouldn't hold up.
