Good to see some quality JUCO arms commit because we appear to have had zero portal additions to date. Josh needs to get the pitching coach hire done asap to help firm up the recruiting class. He's known for a month now (at least) that Rob was retiring, I'm surprised we haven't heard anything.

Season in a nutshell right there. Absolutely horrendous bullpen and defensive fundamentals. And sat on a 2-run lead and squandered many scoring opportunities to build the lead. All of us who have watched this season knew 2 runs wouldn't hold up.

This. Sometimes Rob believes in his guys to a fault and this was a prime example. He sees a 6'8 lefty with mid 90s velocity and good movement. But the guy has consistently, time after time, came up small as possible in every pressure situation. Huge error to trust him in this spot.

Gutless performance. In both games today he was awful while the team has been battling their asses off.
