I think this is the right move. Binghamton isn't just any #4 seed, they are a bad one. They went 13-11 in the America East conference so it isn't like they dominated a weak conference. They were a slightly above average team in a weak conference that played well and won the league tournament...

I'm sure they went with Shull to get another RH bat in the line-up against Duke's LHP. Shull has really struggled most of the year and it was another wrong button pushed. Conover has been much better all the way around.

Duke looks to be an offensive team. Very average pitching stats and no starter that stands out as being a top line guy. OSU will have the advantage on the mound in game 1 but does look like Duke will be a challenge at the plate. Definitely a very winnable 1st round game for a 3 seed.
