At least he isn't making excuses. He has enough good will built up that he can have a bad year. Happens to every that doesn't play in Norman. I think he hit a home run with Eberle as the pitching coach but we need a seasoned hitting coach. Offense has always been Coach G's worst phase.

Are they even going to make a regional at this point? If we do it will be on name recognition only. They most definitely haven't earned it yet.

Because skill does not translate to coaching. A lot of times the best players are the worst coaches because they don't know how to teach it. They just do it.

To be honest he is kind of in a no-win position. These coaches were well entrenched at OSU before he got the job. He couldn't force Gundy to do anything until Gundy had a bad season which hadn't happened in 20 years. It finally happened and he was able to force through change. Could be the same...

As up and down as this season has been, it is really refreshing to have a coach that will be honest and not talk in coach speak (Looking at you Holliday)
