This is what I texted my dad after watching and listening to this:
I love them talking about Coach. I am so mad at NIL. It has ruined collegiate sports. There are so many kids like Tony Allen who will never get a shot like he did because of it.
I know this game should not be a referendum on this season, but it is a referendum on HCMG. I do not know how there is any way to move forward at this point with him at the helm. What an absolute joke and embarrassment.
Probably need to hope that the ATL Falcons are bad and the offense is just average.
I know it is bad luck with the injury, but nothing about last season gives me any confidence in HCMG in adapting to be competitive to win.
It is devastating to the program to go not just 1 but potentially 2...
Not trying to read too much into anything RA says, but the way he addressed Flores and the language he used in the locker room interview made it sound like Hejny is out next Saturday.
Not disagreeing, but the secondary coverage looked surprised to see the ball there. That may also be a bad sign.
Or... that ball had some zip to it. And it was a great catch from a risky throw.
I am a pastor and switch back and forth between some theological book and then to something not (fictional, biography, etc).
This year I have read:
The Unquenchable Flame by Michael Reeves
Friday Night Lights by H.G. Bissinger
A Light on the Hill by Caleb Morrell
Red Rising (re-read) by Pierce...
Heaven forbid that fans desire more success for the team. I understand that we aren't in his shoes and don't have the daily wear and tear with the team, but this is very tone deaf.
