Rankings- April 24th

About what I expected….Texas jumps into the top 5 while we’ll be on the bubble in regards to having a national seed
Didn’t we beat them 4 times last year and then lose the two that mattered most? They lost a national seed and got to finals. Plenty of softball left but won’t matter if we can’t score anymore. Never seen anything like it for an entire team playing as well as they were. Not even sure “slump” applies

Some of it is just plain bad luck. They are 7th in batting average, 7th in on-base percentage, and only averaging around 3 Ks per game. Putting the ball in play just can't seem to ever come up with the big hit. I would think that it will start to even out and the runs will start to come once they can break through that wall.

they won the games that mattered most last season credit them…they got hot at the right time and rode it to the championship series. What Texas did was rare in which they faced elimination in regionals; super regionals, the throughout the WCWS and still found a way to survive until they ran into OU.

Do you need a national seed to make it to okc…no 3 unseeded teams last year found a way including Texas. Should be interesting to see how this team responds. The book is out on OSU, teams is pitching away instead of middle to middle in.
