OU can officially quit getting talked about for any chance at being on the bubble. They are absolute trash.

Curious how many more conference wins we need than West Virginia to be as firmly in the field as they are. We currently have 3 more conference wins, one more and we will double their conference wins.

Yeah, there is a lot more in play than I pay attention to, but on the surface it sure seems odd how some things are shaping up. Palm has us in the playoff round as an 11 against UNC. Clearly the NET is a big factor but there is at least one with a higher NET, same record and inferior conferences that are up to three lines higher (MichSt). Most of the higher-ranked teams do have better NETs though, like WVU, who have a lesser record but a NET almost 20 lower.

Those three stupid OOC losses are trying to bite us in the arsk.

It is like the pollsters and Palm have only allotted "x" amount of rankings/slots to Big12 teams, so it is impossible to move up until another Big12 moves out and they are not ready to move anyone out.

That or they don't want to move OSU up, because they expect the next game to be a loss, so it is easier to leave us where we are at.

Wish we would get some of that SEC football love, where they don't have a problem moving a team up because someone else in the conference lost and they have a minimum quota of SEC teams to keep in the top 10/25.

They aren’t trying. They are succeeding. Blowing double digit leads to SI and UCF are keeping us from at least a 6 seed right now.
